Oh, well, since I can't convince you, I might as well give you a quick overview. The USS Dauntless NCC-54339 is an Excelsior (refit)-Class starship. If you look in the Tour, you'll find our Master Systems Display (MSD). In-Character, you will find one of these mounted on the wall in each section, on each deck; most prominently on the Bridge. In very short order, it will help you find your way around the ship, especially if used in conjunction with the Deck Listing the site provides.

Before that, I'll give you a quick history of this ship and her class. The Excelsior started back about a hundred years ago with NX-2000, USS Excelsior, dubbed "the Great Experiment" for Starfleet's first transwarp experiment. A century later, they're still viable, and thanks to their unique design, they still keep up with a very respectable cruise speed of Warp 7.
